Welcome to our report on sustainable food procurement within the NHS. Here, we delve into the current situation on food sustainability, with insights from experts in the field, through surveys and interviews. In this, they we’ve received professional recommendations on what change needs to be implemented at trust level and across the NHS as a whole.  

As part of this report, we gathered both qualitative and quantitative data from various NHS professionals across the UK who play a role in food procurement. This group included individuals in diverse positions such as Catering Managers, Facilities Project Managers, Net Zero Food Programme Managers, Nurses, and Chefs.
